Hakikah Shamisden, CHHC, shared tools to help attendees run ‘Me, Inc.’ successfully in her workshop, Me, Inc.: Redesigning The Way Women Live and Work. She also let us know the importance of putting yourself first and putting “me time” in your schedule because so often, as women, we give little time to us, putting ourselves last (if we pencil ourselves in at all).
Additionally, she discussed clean eating, which means eating more fruits and vegetables and living with food, not living through food. A couple of suggestions: Avoid food loaded with chemicals you don’t understand, and check the ingredient labels.
And to create your FUTURE SHIFT, Hakikah provides five disciplines you need to learn to achieve the life you desire:
S imple Actions lead to a
H ealthy Lifestyle that includes
